We moved in to our new home last November 13, lots of cleaning because there was so much dust from wood, so I cleaned up first for like 2 hours. It was so exhausting and annoying because it was late and vacuum was noisy freak which is making such sounds in the whole building. Was that weird? Oh yeah that was because just few people were living in the building (maybe like 3 families where living in here) and it was also new building, therefore sounds are like everywhere. Echoes were loud and really uncomfortable.
After few hours of cleaning, I gave up so my husband and I went to bath and refresh ourselves. We were planning to sleep because we haven’t anything to do yet in our home. There wasn’t internet connection and living room wasn’t done so we have nowhere to place our T.V.; bedroom is the only place where we can use to relax and rest after the whole exhausting day. Guess what, we also don’t have any curtains in our window so thanks to me, still have guts to think about few strategies how we will make it. And we were glad we made it.
The moment of truth! Our first ever night to sleep and experience our new bed; our new bed is kind of cool. Oh yeah! It is using electricity and really useful and comfortable because of its ability to bend and move the lower part and goes higher for your legs and upper side to bend so it will much more comfortable when you want to read a book. Awesome, my husband really loves it; he was playing with it until he fell asleep. It was funny though, because he was acting like a kid.
Few minutes since we went to bed and my husband fell asleep like a baby. I guess me too, I don’t know exactly. Maybe this is called real home, where you can find peace even in the worst scenario and even it wasn’t finished yet. It was more comfortable to sleep, I felt like I am really home. Our first night was awesome, kind of weird but we both woke up so early.
My husband says, “I woke up early like I don’t feel any pain from my body. I was like I have plenty of sleep from last night, which never happened to us before.”
He was right, I felt same as I woke up and opened my eyes like I never had exhausting day. I just hope it will continue and we have lots of peace in our home.

The new house is like a new life 🙂
It is,, You are right. We do try to start over again so we at least have a little fun from doing things here.. Kind of busy almost everyday. 😀
We just moved in our new place as well. It is huge and most of our stuff is not here yet so it also has a lot of echoes (so annoying especially since we have dogs). Hopefully once we have more of our furniture it won’t be so bad. We also do not have curtains yet and the windows are huge. I hope to get them soon. It’s awkward having people be able to peek in. I hung up a blanket in one of the windows while exercising for some privacy but it was not even long enough. That is cool you have a new bed you like. I can’t wait til ours arrives. The temporary one we have is so hard it may as well be the floor. It doesn’t bother my husband but I miss my memory foam mattress.
We do same, I also hang something to cover our window which actually are the most visible unit in that place. So glad that we finally have the permanent cover last wednesday. 😀
I hope your’s will arrive so you will be comfortable there specially at night. It’s kind of annoying when you know someone might see you and your husband moving around. 😀
