It was March 18, 2012; our flight would be at 3:55pm local time in Czech Republic. Since we wanted to avoid rushing and so much chaos at the airport, we decided to come earlier. Everything went so well and we actually made to be in the first line to check-in our luggage. The first thing we did was to find our boarding gate, and since we knew that it wasn’t open yet; we just tried to looked around the airport and eat something before we went inside.
MARCH 17, DAY BEFORE OUR FLIGHT, WE STAYED AT THE HOTEL LOCATED IN PRAGUE. WE HAVE TIME TO EXPLORE A LITTLE BIT
So there we go, we were inside the plane; then I started to felt a little bit weird because, we were delay to depart. Oh yeah! Everything goes well, except that someone just left his watch to security and he needs to get back there to claim it! Such a luck right! I mean, I knew that it was probably so important for him, and I respect that; it’s just that, I don’t want so many delays because I am excited to finally arrive to Philippines.
After a long flight, we arrived to Dubai airport, but unfortunately something happened again even before we landed. We were doing circling up in the sky, for almost 40 minutes. We don’t even know what the reason was; all I knew was that “I’m dizzy from that”.
So we finally landed after they made us so dizzy from circling. We went to transfer disk, and immigration check; and there was a huge line. There were also constructions all around the area that makes the operation of immigration check a little bit slower. We were so starving and so tired and all we wanted that moment was to sit and find something to eat. So the first thing we did, was to find some space at McDonald’s so we can sit and eat, unfortunately, we never find any. So we looked around, and find this Burger King. Oh yeah, a little bit lucky! We found two available seats, but of course close to garbage bin; but that’s okay. What we needed the most are seats to eat and rest a little, doesn’t matter if that was close to garbage bin.
After we ate, we walked along the duty-free sections, and my husband decided to buy one small bottle of alcohol to help him sleep at the airplane. He thought that we will be using the economy, since we booked it just like that. Luckily, they upgraded our boarding ticket to Business Class. That was really cool! My husband is a silver card holder of that airlines and I am holding family member card, reason why we have more chance to upgrade our tickets. Cool right?
When we get inside the plane, they immediately gave us welcome drinks, and hot towel. My husband took champagne, and I took orange juice. Steward asked us, if we wanted the wine menu; my husband took one, but me not. (Anicka doesn’t drink any kind of alcohol)
Seats are really huge, and finally we are able to sleep better. So regarding about the food? Well, food seems awesome, but honestly? The moment we came inside the plane; all I wanted was to get some nap. So I really didn’t care much about the food offer, but my husband does. He has some sandwich, then after that he also immediately got some rest.
Steward was actually confused why we are not much eating. Well, it’s still a long way to Philippines, and if we arrive safe, we have just two nights in Metro Manila, and we have to travel again, so it’s quite simple! We need to sleep and rest. All of that happened.
Well, we received travel pack kit from that airline. It was exclusively for business class passengers. It was cute. It contains toothpaste, toothbrush, mirror, hairbrush, perfume, lotion, hand cream, and wet towel. (That’s what inside my travel kit) My husband’s travel kit have, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving blade, after shaving gel, perfume, hand cream, hairbrush, and deodorant. Cool right?

So enough of that! We finally arrived to Philippines at local time 4:15 in the afternoon, flight EK 332. We have been passed through every check we need to, also because we have advantage to be in Business class. ( Priorities to go first from the plane ) so there you go, we were so happy and all we need to do for last was to pick up our luggage, unfortunately we haven’t any chance to get it earlier, which ruin my mood. We were waiting almost an hour before our luggage shows up. Yeah, almost everyone from the same flight was outside the airport, and us? Right there, waiting. Unlucky!
So after an hour of waiting for our luggage we finally get the hell out of the airport. Good that the driver was waiting for us, ready to bring us to hotel where we will stay for two nights.
